I decided to have a pre-birthday celebration as most of my family will be very busy on my actual birthday. And my husband will be gone for a tour on my birthday itself. I don’t want to celebrate alone. So I told my family that we will be going to have dinner on the 30th (my birthday is Aug 31st) at Chili Peppers. I also invited my cousins and aunt on my father and mother side. We we’re 15 in total. The celebration was simple but super fun! The food was delicious!

It is the first day of September and in a few months from now it’s Christmas time once again! My friends over at twitter are now talking about purchasing toys as their Christmas gifts to their kids. I am just lurking and reading what are their good finds. I am looking for ideas on what to give to my Goddaughters and Godsons on Christmas Day. And of course I also want to give our soon to be born child her very first Christmas gift. This is sooo exciting!

I am so lazy today. I don’t know why. Maybe because it is Friday. Yes it has something to do with the day. haha! Or maybe this pregnancy hormones strikes again. Oh no! Mojo didn’t even visited me today. =(

I hope tomorrow will be another day. That I can scrap and share it here again. Well see.

Oh well, I will cook dinner now and check this roadside assistance that a friend is asking me to do later.

This is nice. Though the place is 1 hour and 45 minutes ride from where I live. I am still happy that Starbucks is finally opening one here in Bicol region. For sure a lot of coffee addicts are happy now. haha! I am not  coffee drinker but I still love Starbucks. Weird feeling right?

I hope they are also brewing one here in Legazpi.

My nephew is feeling homesick in the US said my brother. He kept telling them that it is better at daddy’s house which is here in the Philippines. I got sad when I heard that he is not happy there. I think it is just today. He is adjusting to the new environment and I am so sure that he’ll blend in there soon. Plus he will go to school there and meet other kids. What my brother did to help him adjust is to buy him toys… lots of them. And also go to beautiful places like the Universal Studios in LA and the beach. My brother also plan to buy him a Peg perego at Kids Wheels. This will surely make him want to stay there. haha!

I am still thinking about our financial standing as of today. If it is ok or do I need to double time at work. My husband rarely talk about money at home. So I have no idea on what was really going on. Now I remember to ask him tomorrow about this. Are we ready for the coming out of this baby? Can we handle the expenses during my giving birth? These are all running through my head right now. And I hate the fact that I will have answer not until tomorrow morning. Of course I cannot wake up my husband and say let’s talk about money. I am not that stupid. LOL!

All I can do right now is to search the web for a possible money earning work or investment. I saw a post at my friends blog that buying gold coin will add income to your pocket. Investing in these precious metals are safe and secured. Gold are a hard asset for an investor. I think I have to read more information about this matter. This really catches my interest.

… from me today. Maybe if I have time later I can squeeze a little time to scrap and make a page. I am behind to my CT duties again. I hate it when Mr. Mojo leaves me. My cousin is pestering me to find a good beauty school on the internet as she intend to enroll in one. She is really the type of person who will work in a beauty parlor. She loves to arrange hair in a very weird way and put make up just like the pro when we were a child. She loves to play everything about beauty. And now that she is a grown up already she is pursuing her dreams.

I guess if she enroll herself in a beauty school in Wichita then her dreams will come true. But of course we are so far from that place right now. But if she insist her parents can work it up. That is up to them. I am wishing that her dreams will really come true. Well at least close to it! Good Luck my dear cuz!

I decided to continue my SSS contribution now that I am pregnant. I stopped a few years ago as it is hard for me to go to payment centers. But I guess I still can’t use it for the expenses in the hospital when I give birth in November as it requires a 6 month active contribution. This is a big lesson to me, to be active in paying health and other government services. Because this is a big help in the long run. I thank God that my dad decided to get a Medicare plan for his health care. This will really help him in the future.

The husband is looking for his vga cable last night. He said he needs to use it for the TV in the bus. But I haven’t seen it and I don’t know how it looks like so I said I haven’t seen it. Only to find out it is with my things! I said sorry as I don’t know how that cable went into my things. Oh well, it is with him now and maybe placed it already in the bus. I am so forgetful now that I am pregnant, sometimes I forgot all the things I need to consult with my OB and remember them when we reach home. Sigh!

Last July 16 was our meet up once again. I was so happy I was able to join this EB. Perfect timing as we have a family event to attend to on the 17th. It is not so often that I can join every meet up because of my location. This time the balikbayan’s are Jacq from Singapore and Caryl from Hong Kong. I am so glad to finally meet them! Plus Iyah, Jacq’s daughter is super cute! I love her.

We ate lunch at CYMA in Greenbelt Makati. A greek restaurant. It was my first time to eat at such restaurant. I can’t even understand what’s on the menu! haha! But God the food was delicious! I love the grilled pork chop the most.

And then we headed to CBTL after for some coffee and cake. I am having a headache this time that’s why I am silent most of the time. I also tasted 1 cake only and no coffee for me as per advice by my OB.

My day was complete because of my friends. I hope to join again in the next EB. Until next time Bebots!
