Why Women Cry?

Why Women Cry

Watch her eyes
A little boy asked his mother, “Why are you crying?” “Because I’m a woman,” she told him.

“I don’t understand,” he said. His Mom just hugged him and said, “And you never will.”

Later the little boy asked his father, “Why does mother seem to cry for no reason?”

“All women cry for no reason,” was all his dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man, still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God. When God got on the phone, he asked, “God, why do women cry so easily?”

God said
“When I made the woman she had to be special.
I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet gentle enough to give comfort.
I gave her an inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection that many times comes from her children.
I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going when everyone else gives up, and take care of her family through sickness and fatigue without complaining.
I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances, even when her child has hurt her very badly.
I gave her strength to carry her husband through his faults and fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart.
I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly.
And finally, I gave her a tear to shed. This is hers exclusively to use whenever it is needed.”
“You see my son,” said God, “the beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart – the place where love resides.”

I can’t wait for Holy Week 2009!

Holy week is near already and I can’t wait for our Family Vacation on my grandmother’s place in Camarines Sur. We are also going to Caramoan. Weeeeee!!! That place is heaven to me! White sand, never crowded, beautiful view and clear water. I can’t wait to bring Nikolette (my camera) there. She will be busy for sure!

When I was a kid I will spent my summer vacation in that place. It was one of the happiest time of my childhood life. I am happy to be with my cousins, go swim in a free and virgin beach, watch the sunset, go star gazing, watch the boat come and go, eat lots of fish and sea foods for free, go on a picnic and a lot more fun things we do there. I had happy moments there. I won’t forget those happy times.

And now that we will go back there after 2 years of not visiting that place. I am super excited! I want to go on a lot of places there with my dear husband. Discover new and fun things together. And go on an adventure! Super duper exciting!!! I really can’t wait for April 8-12.

Huey’s 2nd Death Anniversary

We had a small gathering last March 10 for my son’s 2nd death anniversary. Mom cooked everything with the help of mom’s friends. It was not a sad celebration anymore. I am happy that my relatives, friends and family are there with us to commemorate Huey’s death. I know that my son is already in a safe and happy place. I know he is happy and we are also happy that he is with God now.

Here are some photos of the event:

It was great to see everyone gathered on our lonely house. Jun and I are really happy last Tuesday.

Thank You to all who came! For sure Huey is happy you all remembered him.

How am I?

It’s been four days since I last updated this blog. And I am so sorry for not updating. I’ve been busy with the 9 days prayer for the soul of my my dear son Huey. We go to the cemetery every morning and offer him a prayer. His anniversary is on March 10th and we will be having a little get together to remember the passing of my son. We are sad a little bit but we are thinking of how wonderful his life is with our Lord Jesus Christ. I know he is happy already.

I am also scrapping a lot lately. I am coping with the time I didn’t scrap for my CT (blame it on my addiction to Pet Society! LOL!). I am afraid of getting fired on my CTs so I need to scrap a lot this week. I am also making another photobook to be printed in ARTSCOW. And speaking of artscow, I received my artscow prints last Wednesday and I am still waiting for my photobook. I hope it will arrive soon. Credits are expiring so I need to make another photobook soon.

I will also be looking for a good insurance quotes because my mother asked me to research on this matter. Its been a hectic week for me. i hope to get rest soon!

I hope all of you are doing great. Happy Weekend everyone!
