American Idol Fanatic

I so love watching AI right now. I forgot to watch the performance of the top 12 guys last night but I watched it on you tube today even if my connection is so bad. And I watched the performance of the top 12 girls today and they are wow!!!! I love their performances. I have favorites already and they are:

Top 3 Girls

Top 3 Guys

I think my favorites will still change as the show goes by. I am just basing this from last night and tonights performances.

And oh! I have a kababayan on the Top 24 and she is:

She is also good but I am not impressed on her performance today. But I am so proud that she made it on the 24. Go! Go! Filipinos! And she also stated that her Musical Influences includes Regine Velasquez and Lani Misalucha. She is so proud to be filipino.

I really love American Idol. I’ll watch again on Wednesday. I am so excited already on who will be eliminated.

Brrrrrr!!!!

Its raining real hard here in Bicol. My hands and feet are cold. I need a hug right now! hihihihi! Honey can’t give it to me right now because he is in Manila for a tour. He left at 3 am this morning together with my father in law. He texted me today that he is already in Quirino Highway. I was sad to be alone in our house for 2 days and thank God my sister went home for vacation from UPLB. She can accompany me in our house today and tomorrow. Honey said he will be home on Saturday. I can’t wait!

A Good Movie: Nanny Diaries

I am such a movie fanatic. I specially love to watch movies during rainy season and of course with hubby on my side. Right now I love the movie NANNY DIARIES. I teaches me a lot of lessons about being independent, taking risks and having a nanny to your kids while you are so busy with another thing (work). This movie has a lot of good lessons that you can learn from. I really recommend this to all the moms out there.

This is the story of the movie:

“The Nanny Diaries” tells the story of the emotional and often humorous journey of Annie Braddock (Johansson), a young woman from a working-class neighborhood in New Jersey, struggling to understand her place in the world. Fresh out of college, she gets tremendous pressure from her nurse mother to find a respectable position in the business world although Annie would prefer to trade in her blackberry for an anthropologist’s field diary. Through a serendipitous meeting, Annie ends up in the elite and ritualistic culture of Manhattan’s Upper East Side — as remote from Annie’s suburban New Jersey upbringing as life in an Amazon tribal village. Choosing to duck out of real life, Annie accepts the position as a nanny for a wealthy family, referred to as simply “the X’s.” She quickly learns that life is not very rosy on the other side of the tax bracket, as she must cater to the every whim of Mrs. X (Linney) and her precocious son Grayer, while attempting to avoid the formidable Mr. X (Giamatti). Life becomes even more complicated when Annie falls for a gorgeous neighbor of the X’s (Evans) who she nicknames Harvard Hottie, and is forced to explore what she wants to do with her life.
