During my son’s burial last March 2007 we have White and Blue Balloons in our hands. We let go of him through the balloons. As we let go the balloons tears came flowing into my eyes. It was really painful but we have to. Honey cried more than I cried. He loves Huey a lot. It is not that I don’t love Huey. It’s just that I learned to accept to let him go more than my husband. I am the mother and I am happy that he is not suffering anymore.

Your post made me cry – last March my first little grand-daughter was born dead. We had miniature daffodils at her funeral. I love the idea of releasing balloons, and you have a beautiful photograph. My daughter-in-law is expecting again, and I hope you will be soon. Hugs!
