PhotoHunt: Long

I will put this again as my entry to the photo hunt theme of the week… LONG.
This people walk from Mindanao to Manila to fight for their rights to own a land.
They are protesting for their land title. They passed by our house early in the morning and that was last November 14, 2007. I saw last night on the news that the already arrived in Manila and they will go to Malacañang.
My goodness! That was so far! And a very long walk!
Imagine walking from Mindanao to Luzon? Just look at the photo below on how far their origin to Manila.

ang aga ng photo hunt mo. ako later ko pa upload (although nai-upload ko na sa multiply), i am having the hardest time getting in blogger – and navigating takes so long, too! i am thinking of switching to wordpress (because i got to use the free version already), but i don’t like to host the pictures first before putting it here. hay, ewan, not only does my internet slow, the computer is slow, too (we suspect it’s a mild virus, but i am not sure until bro gets home). hope we can chat one time, got lots to ask you.
happy weekends!

Those walks for a cause are surely long but if it gets you the purpose for the walk then it’s good.

That’s a long. long way. And they have to travel by boat too right. Philippines has so many islands. It’s a rough journey. I hope they got the problem solved!
Mine is up. Hope you enjoy my hunt.

These people represent how our countrymen are being treated by those who have money on their pockets and it seems that the government can not do anything to help them.
Wonderful entry, Diane.

Wonderful entry!! I admire people who are willing to peacefully march or demonstrate for their rights. I’ve marched in my city against the violence that has gripped us since Katrina, but it wasn’t anywhere near that long!
Good for them and my thoughts are with them as well.
