We went to Tiwi, Albay last Saturday together with Jun’s family. We went there to attend mass and to thank for the blessing of life to Jun (for his birthday last Nov 8). It is our tradition to go there every year. I also prayed for the soul of Lola Paz (Jun’s lola) and Huey. Last Saturday was Huey’s 8th month anniversary. We also went to the cemetery after going to Tiwi.

I made these for Jun’s God Daughter. We didn’t have any material gift to her aside from the money we gave so I made this album. She was baptized last Oct 27, 2007. She is one adorable 2 month old baby. Here are the pictures of the album. This is 28 pages all in all.

I gave this to Jun’s friend who is the father of the baby last Nov 8 (Jun’s birthday). And he said it was very beautiful. When he got home he txted Jun that his mother in law like it. Mabutingting daw ako. And he was thanking me for the very artisting album I made for his daughter. His wife also txted Jun to thank me. I am very much happy to make this album and I am happy that they liked it.

I have been bitten by the blogging bug last February of 2005 at my other blog (Somewhere Over the Rainbow). I blog with tagalog posts. I am not that comfortable writing in English. I find it cool to share to everyone your thoughts. That blog is all about me having a family and having Huey. That blog is so special to me since I can go back to the memories when i am still with Huey.

2. What inspired you to start a blog and who are your mentors?
I got so inspired by Ala Paredes’ blog. She makes a lot of interesting posts so I made one myself. I already forgot the url of her blog.

3. Are you trying to make money online, or just doing it for fun?
Like you Te Jen, I made a blog just for fun but when Chikai told us about this paid blogging thing we all got hooked. Thank to you Chikai! I am really thankful for you.

4. Tell me 3 things you LOVE about being online.
- Chatting with friends through yahoo messenger.
- I can get inspiration on my scrapbooking LOs by other scrapbookers blog.
- I love to get informations about a certain person through surfing the net.

5. Tell me 3 things you STRUGGLE within the online world.
- Spammers!!!! grrrr!!!
- Struggle with family time versus blogging time. ahhahahah!
- Sleeping time. I can’t complete the 8 hours required of sleep. Gosh! This blogging is getting on me! hahahah!

A lot of Filipinos are looking for a job abroad. It’s because of the salary they are getting from it. Even if that means long time of suffering for being away from your family. I know that it is very difficult for someone to be away from your family. I also have a brother who works abroad and we miss him so much. I think he was there for 7 years already. I am not sure but all I can remember is that when I celebrated my 18th birthday he’s not around. It is so painful to see him leave but we need to be strong in order to grow. He needs to be there for his future. He needs to get a job.

Right now I understand why a lot of Filipinos are going out of the country to look for a job. It’s for their families and love ones. It is also for them, in order to be a better person. In order to live. It was painful but they need to do it. Just for their families.
