This is the old but beautiful chandelier at the church during the wedding of my cousin. I am so attracted with the light it gives us and how it makes the church a very romantic place for the newlyweds.

Congratulations Alden and Mariz!

Beautiful Beddings

Have you seen this website that offers beautiful beddings? A very unique bedding! And all I can say is WOW! They have a very nice designs and I super love it! I want it on our bed!!! Wanna see what they offer and what I am so freaking exciting for? Look…

This Flower Bedding is the one I like on the catalog. It is very simple yet very girly. And a very beautiful one too! I can imagine how it will look like on our bed. Hubby will be alarmed if I will put this in our bed because it is too girly but I am sure he will also like it! He can’t complain to what I like you know! hahahahha!

You can never find this design in any other store but at Vision Bedding only. So why don’t you go to the site now, choose your design and order it at visionbedding.com.
Good luck and Happy Shopping!

Another Wedding

I am already here at my parents house and we are already preparing for the wedding of my cousin this 9am. This wedding is on my fathers side. The last one was on my mothers side. It is so great to attend a wedding like this because I got to wear beautiful dresses which I often wear. I feel so girly when I am wearing a dress.

I have no major role in this two weddings. I mean I am not included in the entourage and I am so happy with that because it is a major hassle if I am included in the entourage.

I am off to change clothes now. I’ll post pictures again tomorrow because I know I will be again tired later. Oh and I forgot after the wedding reception we will leave early to attend another occasion ~ a baptism. And Jun is one of the Godparents. Whew lots of things going on around here so tah tah for now guys!

I need Money!

I wanted to buy a lot of things right now. But prioritizing our business is what I am thinking right now. We need to buy a lot of things for our 3 bus. One needed some overhaul and one needs some replacement of some machine parts. Jun and I are problematic already on where to get or borrow money for the expenses. So I searched the net and got interested with what I found out. This site is heavens gift to all people who is problematic of getting an emergency cash. I would like to try this out too! Imagine I can get a cash advance in their site and get the money through my checking account right away! That is so amazing! You just need to apply for an application on their site or to the nearest Cash Advance stores nationwide.

And did you know that they also have a Payday loans. When your salary arrives you can pay them how much money you borrowed from them. This site is really a nice place to get money for your emergency spending or payment.I think you should try this too!

Cousin’s Wedding Preparations

We will go to my cousins wedding (Mother’s side) tomorrow in Naga City, I mean later because it is already 12:39am here. heheheh! I am really excited! Yesterday afternoon, my Mom, my sister and I went to the parlor to have our nails done. We spent I think 3 hours there! I love my newly painted nails. Opps! I forgot to take pictures so no pictures for today, Sorry! I have a great time there with my family. After our beauty make over we headed to the mall to buy Polo shirt for Jun because he has nothing to wear for the wedding. I also need to buy a new shoes to match my dress. I had a hard time choosing the best one. When my sister is already pissed on waiting for me chose the right shoes I stopped and just go away with the shoes department. Until i saw this beautiful shoes that really match my dress. I immediately bought it! No questions asked! LOL! After that we went home already because it is already 8pm I think.

Talk about beauty bonding with my sister and my mom… oh dad is our driver for the day! hihiihih!

Reflect

I would like to share this email with all of you. I got this from our yahoo group. This was posted by my co-member Pam. Thanks Pam! This is such a nice way to reflect. A nice way of realizing on the truths and love all the people around us. It is not too late for all of us even to the letter sender of this email. Pray and let God be the center of our lives!

Good day everyone,

I wish I were writing under different circumstances. I
would like to inform you that my wife Leslie Cruz
was part of the casualties in the Glorietta 2 Mall
bombing in Makati City, Philippines. She was supposed
to have a minor out patient surgery at Makati Medical
Center at 230pm.

I had taken a leave from work to accompany her
there. We dropped off our daughter, Amber, at my
parents place in QC to babysit at around 10am. We then
proceeded to Makati and was there at 1230pm. Since she
had been fasting in preparation for her procedure, she
wanted to move ar ound and listen to some music while
I grabbed a bite to eat. We parked at the basement of
Park Square 2, and headed for the Glorietta 2
entrance. We parted at the top of the escalator, she
turned right towards Filbar’s while I went left
towards the restaurants. That was the last time I
would see her.

Around 120pm, she had called me so that we can meet at
the Glorietta 2 exit just in time to make her
appointment. As I made my way there from Glorietta 1
through the connecting hallways, and was about to turn
the corner, I heard 2 deep thumps and the shock-wave
from the blast hit me. At that moment my heart dropped
as I knew that the origin of the blast came from the
same place where we were supposed to meet. I tried
getting to where my wife was, but the dust was too
much and it was as if I was staring at a white wall.

I still tried to convince myself that she was able to
take it out, and that after ringing her mobile without
a response only meant that she dropped it in the
confusion. After 6 hours of searching from Makati Med.
to Ospital ng Makati, the blast site, and back again
to MMC – with the help of all the people I could get
hold of, that I was able to get confirmation in what
the state of my wife was.

My Dad and Uncle signaled me in from the ER of MMC. My
Uncle (who’s a doctor) asked me to describe Leslie’s
appearance to another group of doctors. I saw in the
eyes of one that the description made sense. Instead
of confirming it to me, they huddled together, then
brought me to a small examination room. It was only
through a digital camera that I was able to confirm
(and deny) that she was indeed gone.

I have so many regrets. I should have met her sooner.
I should have ran instead of a brisk walk. I should
have not chose to park where I did. I should have
braved the dust and went in the blast site. I should
have …

Today’s the 4th day. It is still terribly difficult to
breathe, let alone wake up realizing that your source
of strength, your best friend doesn’t lie beside you
on your bed. That my deepest worry is when Amber
starts asking for her Mama.

I am glad that Amber’s too young to understand the
loss and pain. In time I would like to tell her the
details of how her mother died, but more importantly I
would like to raise her as how her mother lived – a
loving person, strong willed, decisive, caring, and
nurturing. She has always cared for her family and
friends, and sacrfied her career for being a full time
mom and home maker.

As with all couples we had our ups and downs – none of
which I regret not going through. The sweet is never
as sweet without the sour. For almost 4 years of
marriage, we’ve finally hit our balance in life only
to be taken away in an instant. I have no regrets
about our marriage. She has loved me and Amber beyond
her capacity. I will always love her.

It is my first time to write to egroup as I’ve lurked
and watched emails being sent to and fro. All I want
now is that for each of the couples here is to cherish
each moment that we spend with our loved ones. Pretty
simple to say, very easy to take for granted. Thank
you all for the prayers. I would still like to
ask you to please include Leslie in them until her
40th day so that the path to God’s kingdom is well lit
and she is no longer in the dark.

Sincerely,
Carlo Cruz

Pass It On!

I have a special announcement…

Have a nice day!

My Horoscope for today

Friendster Horoscope for October 2, 2007
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Virgo

The Bottom Line
Step back from a relationship that has become too combative. You need time apart.

In Detail
Skip the shortcuts and stick to the straightaway today. This applies to all aspects of your life: Romance, health, work, school, family, etc. Your conversations should all be as direct as possible, your actions should be unambiguous, and your routine should be as efficient as can be. Getting sidetracked or lured away by promises of more time or more money is not a good option, so avoid veering off in any new directions. Your extra efforts will pay off handsomely today.

Wow! The bottom line hits me! I really think Hubby and I really needs a time apart. I might be suffocating him. But I think we also need some time with each other. Just to talk about everyday lives.

Softwares

I have been a Computer Science graduate since 2004 and I miss hearing this word from my teacher. It is so nice to reminisce those times that I am still studying. But I enjoy my life so much now! I got to decide what to do with my time, enjoy every bit of my life and no more hearing teachers talk about boring stuffs. heheh! I also remember those times that my teacher talk about ecommerce software. I never knew that I will again encounter this word now. It is still important to listen to your teachers no matter how boring what they are talking about. You will gain from it for sure in the future. So readers of my blog who is still studying listen up! Give more importance to what your teacher teach you because it is very important in the future. Be a good student okay? Goodluck and God Bless you all!

Leah Fung’s Comment on my POTW Layout

I forgot to post this when I got the POTW (Pick of the week) on the Scrappinmoms Idol Challenge. Leah’s comments really touched me. Thank you Leah for a very wonderful comment on my LO.

“This was a tough contest to judge. ALL the pages were so beautiful! A couple of my favorites were Li’l Hands and Proud Mom. After looking at all the entries many times, I finally was able to pick a page that was my favorite of all the entries. In fact, it was the first page that caught my eye when I first opened up the webpage. My favorite page is My Report Card by Diane Miraballes. There are lots of pretty details that Diane included but none of which overwhelm the page. The black mesh strategically placed at an angle adds great texture to the page and draws the eye from the right edge of the page – where the journaling cards are placed – and leads you right to the papers tucked inside the envelope. I also love how Diane used flowers and metal embellishments on the envelope and journaling cards, and she centered those accents between 2 black flourishes in each case. So pretty. So well done. And finally, I want to mention the large zigzag stitch in brown thread, which is a good visual contrast to the light scallop-edged paper right below it. This is the kind of page that you’ll at glance at and say “that’s a pretty page” then when you actually take the time to look at it even closer, you’ll realize that it’s an amazing page, perfectly done. Great job, Diane!!”
